Dr. Daniel Ralph, an associate of EKonomics LLC, is currently the convener of the Management Science group at the Judge Business School of Cambridge University. He obtained his B.Sc. (Hons) in Mathematics from the University of Melbourne, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. Following a postdoctoral position and some consultancy work, he has been a lecturer in Operations Research and Management Science for the last decade, at Cambridge University since 2000 and previously at the University of Melbourne.

Danny's research and teaching interests broadly relate to computational modelling, in particular optimisation models and equilibrium analysis. His applied work ranges from modelling electricity markets to engineering process control. He teaches business modelling on the MBA and is involved in the Judge Institute Executive Education programmes.

Danny has published over thirty refereed papers and co-authored a research monograph. He is an active member of several international societies and also a member of the editorial board of several flagship journals in his field.
